Japanese Karatedo's Chief Instructor
Sensei Sonny Kim, 6th Dan
Sonny Kim is a six degree black belt with over 30 years of martial arts training. He studied several styles of Martial arts, before taking up the style of Shotokan Karate-Do in 1977. Sensei's training philosophy focuses on a continuous emphasis on basic techniques, regardless of age or experience level. Students are encouraged more to enhance their fundamental knowledge and concentrate less on training for competition. He believes that only through the mastery of these essential basics can students fully develop themselves.
